The Address Book > Sending Bulk Mail

Open the Address Book Manager. Click on the "Send Mail" button and wait for the send mail dialog box to open.

Firstly you'll see the "Send To" list option. here you choose which mailing list(s) you will send your mailer to. As default it is set to All Members, untick it so that you can view the other lists.

Now you can choose for which list(s) you want to send to and click next.

Here you fill in most of the important details of your mail sending.

The "From Name" is the automatic "From" that will appear in the email client of your customer/user.

The "From / Reply Address" is the email that your customer/user will be able to reply to.

The "Email Subject" is the default subject line of your mailer.

Always tick the "Embed Images" option as this will force the images to load in the email client and prevent your mailer from looking different than before you tested.

The "Unsubscribe Page" must be linked to the page that will be displayed when a user clicks the unsubscribe button that should be added into each mailer.

After you are finished with all these options click next.

Here you link to the mailer that you created and this is a good time to make sure that the mailer page type is set as "Newsletter".

The next view options, Plain Text alternative, Diagnostic Test and Schedule mail is not active at the moment and should not be used.

You can use the attachment option. Just upload your file into the files folder in the asset manager and link it to your mailer. be carefull to not use a too large file as that will take long to reach the client's inbox.

Click to commence sending the email and a "Sending" dialog box will appear and show you the progress of your mailer.
