Portal Manager > Using the Portal/Article List Object

To create an article list open a new page, save it with the appropriate name and click inside the content area.

Select the insert tab at the top of your page and on the right of the newly display area, you will see an "Object" button. Click and wait for the pop-up menu to appear.

A big list of object includes will appear. Look for the Content section and then click on Portal / Article List Object. The object will now be visible on your page. Double-click on it to access the Portal / Article List Object.

 Object ID is automatically generated when you've applied all the settings you wanted

On the "Select Feed" choose the list you added in the Portal Manager.

"Image Size" will size the image that you applied to the article. With this option, all the images have the same structure in the list. Leave it empty for no image to show.

"Date Format" gives you options on how you want your date to display, if you choose too make it visible.

"Truncate description" limits to amount of description text display in the list.

"List Style" gives you various options on how you wish your list to display. For a custom list, please contact Softpage and provide your layout design and we'll make on for you.

"Custom Layout Template" will be made by Softpage and will display visible in this dropdown after it's made.

Now click on the OK button and publish the page and it will display as visible.
