 | In this section we explain how to open an existing page.
Opening a page
This is a relatively simply function, but once again I must remind you that all the pages are stored on the server so when you choose the Open icon, you are faced with the pages that are stored on the server.
Remember that you can also use the SoftPage icon and select the open menu, and you will be faced with a list of pages that you have recently worked on.
The file dialog that you will be faced with looks something like this. What you will notice is that the files that are open are marked in red. Also notice that the Pages, Library and Files icons are displayed on the left. This allows you to open Library pages. (These are the templates). The My Computer icon is a way to open files located on your computer. This option will allow you to select a Microsoft Word document, HTML or text file. The system will then convert the file to HTML and open it into the editor.
To ensure that you are opening the correct file, you can click once on the file and preview the page in the preview window.
On the top area are some tools that will make selecting and finding the correct file easy. You can even search for the file if you have many files and cannot remember where you saved it.
