 | You will notice that when you work on pages in SoftPage the changes that you make to the content are not displayed on your web site. This is NOT an error. This section describes how a new or an updated document is then published to the web (or made live).
Publishing a page
For the sake of the document we will presume that you have sufficient privileges to publish the page. In most cases if you are the web site owner or have been provided with the editing abilities you are able to publish content.
When you are ready to publish the page you are working on you need only to click the Publish button ( ).
You will be warned that the content that you now have on the page is visible to the web. You will need to click OK for the system to publish the page.
Note: The default setting for each page is that the web browsers store a cache copy in your computer temporary Internet files. This means that if you re-visit the page, the web browser displays the old content, even if the page has been updated. To make sure that you are viewing the correct content press the F5 key on your keyboard to make sure the page is reloaded. If you hold the Ctrl key and press F5, the browser will also reload the page, but this time it will clear the cache of the browser so text and images are all reloaded. For the most predictable results ALWAYS Ctrl+F5 the page when you are reviewing your work.

Hi Greg, It seems like the problem is that you are trying to save the contact page as another page. Remember that when doing normal updates like this, you only need to do the following: 1) Open 2) Edit the page as you like 3) Save (Ctrl S or on the tool bar) and then 3) Publish (from the tool bar). The pages in SoftPage work much like documents on your PC, just open, edit and save. Saving As will allow you to save a copy but then the original page you opened will stay unchanged. Also remember the ol Crtl + F5 to ensure that the page is not cached.
